USA, Russia, Ukraine And The World
By Dee Knight
This is a half-hour talk on the current war crisis, given to northern Minnesota DSA and Veterans For Peace on Tuesday April 5. It’s based on a series of 4 articles published by Covert Action Magazine. At the beginning I say “The viewpoint expressed in my remarks is that of a long-time war resister – I lived as an exile in Canada for six years during the Vietnam war, and learned I could never trust the U.S. government, especially on matters of war and peace. You can get a deeper insight into that viewpoint in my memoir. You can read more about it on my blog: DeeKnight.blog.
In case you missed it Tuesday, here’s a link (and embedded above) to “The War Crisis: USA, Russia, Ukraine and the World” given on Tuesday April 5th. The hosts were DSA chapters in northern Minnesota. I’ve also posted the slides as a Google Doc. Please feel free to share them with anyone you think may be interested.
I’ll also post the slides and a link to the show on my blog: DeeKnight.blog.
The original articles can also be accessed there, along with other stuff I’ve written, including my memoir. In the talk I mention that the memoir can help provide a sense of my perspective as a long-time war resister – I lived as an exile in Canada for six years during the Vietnam war, and learned I could never trust the U.S. government, especially on matters of war and peace.
